The Cord of Life
A touching journey back to the roots: A young musician returns to the Mongolian steppe to care for his mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s. To keep her from wandering away, he connects himself to her with a long rope—a symbolic umbilical cord that intertwines past, present, and the infinite vastness of Mongolia. A poetic masterpiece about farewells, love, and the rhythm of life.
